Group Description

Are you seeking a safe and empowering environment for your neurodivergent teen?

This eight-week group will focus on:

  • Sharing Experiences: Open up about feelings in an affirming space.

  • Skill Development: Learn emotion regulation and self-advocacy skills in a relaxed setting.

  • Personal Growth: Foster authentic expression and self-discovery.

  • Peer Connections: Meet others who understand and appreciate your unique perspective.

Clinical Team

Ida Piker, Psy.D., is a post-doctoral fellow at Interactive Discovery, specializes in trauma-informed therapy for children, adolescents, and families. Her integrative approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic methods, and creative techniques like play and art therapy. Dr. Piker has extensive experience working with youth facing depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and emotional dysregulation, with a focus on neurodiversity-affirming and LGBTQ+-inclusive care. She emphasizes collaboration with families and building strong therapeutic relationships to foster resilience and healing.
